1953 Studebaker Hardtop
After doing nut and bolt restorations on two cars, I took a little liberties with the second Studebaker I did. The third one, the wagon, was left in patina, but after doing these cars I had a lot of parts left and decided to do another. This one is a 53 hardtop that was a bucket of bolts that a friend had purchased but could not complete. The floors were cleaned up but the project kept getting interrupted. Now 17 years later, it is finally done enough to be road worthy. It is a 61 Studebaker 289 with a T10 four speed, Holley Sniper fuel injection, twin track, disk brakes and electric power steering from a Corolla.
